Beauties Sharing an Umbrella

Comments - Charming image of two beauties sharing an umbrella as rain slants across the sky. The woman at left holds up her robe to keep it from getting wet, shielding her eyes with her hand as she looks up at the sky. A willow tree frames the scene at left, with a river flowing past the grassy bank. Nicely detailed with embossed lines to indicate the folds in the black obi.

Artist - Harunobu (1724 - 1770)

Image Size - 11" x 8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A small hole in top margin. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
