Comments - Lively kabuki triptych of warriors fighting amongst themselves at an encampment in the countryside. In the center, a samurai wearing a horned battle helmet topped with a dragon raises his sword above his head with both hands, grimacing angrily at the young samurai at left. His foe glares back at him, thrusting his spear forward, while another warrior lunges ahead at right with his weapon before him. At right, the general Oda Nobunaga looks on unhappily, wearing an elegant vest, battle helmet, and chest plate emblazoned with the Oda Clan crest. Rain slants across the dark night sky behind the cloth tent walls of the camp, and a banner flutters overhead in the wind. A great image with wonderful detail.
