Beauty with a Lantern, circa 1930s - Attractive circa 1930s interpretation of a Hiroshige design of a beauty carrying a paper lantern during an evening stroll. The lantern sends out a shaft of warm light ahead of her, illuminating the rooftops in the distance. The shoji windows of a building at right are softly glowing as well. Barely visible against the night sky are two lines of geese. A lovely design
