Plum Blossoms in the Evening Snow, 1847 - 1852

Comments - Charming winter scene of beauties pausing in the snow to admire an ancient plum tree. The woman in the center looks back over her shoulder with a smile, lifting the hem of her robe to keep it from getting wet. The beauty at left carries an umbrella, grinning cheerfully at her companions. Blossoms and buds are visible beneath the snow covering the plum tree behind them, and camellia bushes are covered with red flowers. An attractive beauty design.
