Takinogawa, 1884 - Handsome view of the Shakujii River passing through the Oji District. This stretch of the river was called the Takinogawa or Waterfall River because of its Seven Falls. The area was known for its beautiful display of autumn foliage, with colorful maple trees dotting the hillside among tall pines. A charming design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A couple small losses at edge, slight thinning at corners, repaired. Slight creasing, slight soiling at edges. Please see photos for details.
