Samurai Traveling through a Marsh

Comments - Handsome kabuki triptych of three samurai traveling through a marsh at the edge of the water. The warrior in the center rides a horse while his companions are on foot. He wears a fine suit of armor and a horned battle helmet topped with a demon's head. His sashimono or personal standard waves above his back, a red flag with a white crest on it. His fellow samurai regard him with serious expression as he looks up at the night sky. From left, the actors are Ichikawa Gonjuro, Ichikawa Kuzo, and Ichikawa Danjuro. A great design with large colorful figures and soft shading in the background.
