Daimyo's Procession Arriving at a Castle

Comments - Intriguing image of a daimyo's procession arriving at a castle perched atop a high mountain. The samurai make their way up the steep steps in the center, carrying banners and standards, while at right, other warriors flee down the opposite side of the slope. A large encampment can be seen along the shore at left, and clouds shaded with purple and pink drift across the scene. A fascinating subject, nicely detailed.
