Famous Places in Edo Surogoku Game Board

Comments - Terrific sugoroku game board featuring views of famous places in Edo. Sugoroku is a dice game similar to snakes and ladders that was popular with both adults and children. Players move around the board to reach the large goal in the center, which depicts a shrine. The starting point at lower right is the Nihon Bridge. A fantastic and rare Hiroshige design, and a great choice for a collector.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858)

Image Size - 8 1/4" x 12 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Horizontal and vertical folds. Small hole, repaired. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
