Courtesans Enjoying Pastimes

Comments - Attractive scene of courtesans enjoying a variety of pastimes. At right, women play the koto, shamisen, and lute. At left, a beauty arranges flowers in a vase, looking up as a companion delivers a letter to her. In the center two beauties and a young kamuro or child apprentice walk across the water on steppingstones. Blossoming cherry trees frames the scene. A nicely detailed design with an interesting setting. Includes embossing on the white kimono collars and trim.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three attached panels, backed with paper. Horizontal centerfold. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases and stains, paper slightly curled. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details.
