Entertaining Guests, 1890 - Attractive scene of beauties entertaining guests with a variety of activities. At right, a woman offers a tray with writing paper and an ink set on it to a seated beauty in a black kimono. At left, two beauties enjoy a snacks and a cup of tea, with a bowl of sweets placed on a lacquer tray on the floor. Individual servings are placed on papers in front of the guests. Lovely detail in the elegant clothing and the fantastic floral screen at right, which features richly colored blossoms and golden yellow clouds. Includes burnishing in the black kimono at right. A charming subject.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three attached panels. Slight soiling, a couple small spots. Tear at edge, repaired. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
