Series; Famous Places in the Eastern Capital, 1860 - 1864

Kameido Tenjin Temple - Lovely aizuri-e or print in primarily blue tones of Kameido Tenjin Temple in Edo. Visitors stroll across the famous Half Moon bridge towards the building at right, while others relax beneath a wisteria-covered arbor at left center. Clouds drift across the scene, and the red of the large lantern hanging in the entrance gate at right is the only other color used in the design. The first time we've offered this beautiful subject.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Stitching holes at side, small loss at corner, thinning spot at edge, repaired. Slight creasing, a couple small spots. Please see photos for details.
