Konjikido at Hiraizumi, 1954 - Handsome shin-hanga view of Konjikido or Golden Hall Shrine at Hiraizumi on a rainy day. Rain falls over the visitors as they climb up and down the stone steps to the shrine building beneath towering trees, a plum tree covered with pink blossoms adding a note of color. A lovely atmospheric scene.
