Series; Beauties and Seven Flowers
Beauty with Cherry Blossoms - Lovely image of a beauty breaking a branch from a flowering cherry tree from a series depicting seven high-ranking ladies of the Imperial court. She wears a blue kimono with a delicately embossed white collar, and a red obi patterned with bold flowers. Her feathery "moth eyebrows" became popular during the earlier Heian period. A charming print.
