Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido -  Handsome design from Kunisada's circa 1838 chuban sized Tokaido series pairing beauties with scenes of the stations of the Tokaido Road taken from Hiroshige's "Great Tokaido" series. A border of clouds separates the figures from the station views above. An attractive and rarely seen Kunisada series with an interesting format.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Horizontal centerfold. Small loss at edge, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and rubbing, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
