Fukagawa Hachiman Shrine, 1854 - Handsome spring scene of beauties strolling beneath the large stone torii gate at Hachiman Shrine in Fukagawa. A stone pathway leads to the shrine building at left, while the edge of a tea stand can be seen at right. Visitors stroll about the grounds beneath pines and blossoming cherry trees, the yellow ground and the pink flowers adding a colorful contrast to the gray stone and blue sky. A charming design, seldom seen.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Vertical centerfold. Wormholes, small loss, repaired. Creasing and wrinkling, slight toning and soiling, a few spots. Please see photos for details.
