Grappling with an Enemy - Dramatic scene of two heroes grappling as broken ceramic or tile pieces fly through the air. The fellow at left sends his enemy tumbling forward over his leg, his bare feet flailing and the fringe of his robe swinging. A lively image with fine color and detail.

Artist - Ichirentei Kansai (active circa 1848 - 1854)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Horizontal centerfold, fold at corner. Stitching holes at side, small loss at corner, a few wormholes, repaired. Slight creasing and soiling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
