Two Samurai Wrestling - Interesting image of two samurai wrestling, the young man in the foreground grabbing the arm of his opponent over his shoulder. His enemy wears a billowing cape that identifies him as a messenger or important warrior. A handsome design by a rarely seen artist, with wonderful color and detail.

Artist - Ichirentei Kansai (active circa 1848 - 1854)

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Horizontal centerfold. Stitching holes at side, small loss at corner, wormhole, repaired. Slight creasing and soiling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
