Woodblock Album Pages - Interesting horizontal format album page featuring multiple small woodblock prints. Each page includes works by various Edo and Meiji era artists. There are a few original Meiji era woodblocks, but many images are reprints done in the Meiji era of ukiyo-e designs. Subjects range from traditional kacho-e or birds and flowers prints and beauties to samurai and scenes from everyday life. Some album pages are backed with paper, while others have the prints mounted together side by side. At this low opening bid price we are not identifying the artists or specifiying reprint or original, so enjoy the treasure hunt. Please see details below.
