Light Snow: Ichikawa Sadanji I as Obo Kichiza, circa 1876 - Interesting kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Sadanji I as the thief Obo Kichiza, looking warily up at the sky as he carries a straw-wrapped bundle over his shoulders. He wears a brown kimono with a beautiful burnished hexagon and dot pattern over a blue under robe, his short hair sticking up atop his head with the longer locks pulled into a knot at the back of his head. A light snow falls gently through the sky and two sparrows flutter overhead. A nice expressive figure. The first time we've offered this rarely seen Yoshitoshi design.
