Fireflies at Uji River - Terrific night scene of fireflies above the Uji River in Kyoto. The insects form soft points of glowing light in the dark night sky and along the water and grasses below. The bridge frames the scene nicely at left, the supports receding in a rhythmic progression towards the opposite shore. A great image from the series.
