Higashi Hongan-ji Temple at Asakusa, 1854 - Handsome view of visitors crossing a wooden bridge over the water to Higashi Hongan-ji Temple. A mother and father lead their young son by the hand, while the man behind him carries a small girl dressed in a formal kimono on his back. A stone embankment runs along the water, with pine trees dotting the grounds and yellow clouds drifting before a temple building. An interesting subject, not commonly seen.

Image Size - 8 1/2" x 13" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Horizontal and vertical folds. A few wormholes and thinning spots, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing, stains. Please see photos for details.
