Young Prince Visiting a Palace

Comments - Beautiful scene of a prince paying a visit to a beauty in an elegant palace. At left, the young nobleman kneels as he chats with a group, smiling happily and gesturing with his hand. The beauty in the center carries black lacquer box and wears a blue violet kimono patterned with irises and flowing water. The mansion extends into the distance with verandahs overlooking the water and a courtyard at right filled with blossoming cherry trees. Detailed with fine shading in the water and night sky, and embossing on the white kimono trim. An exquisite design with incredible detail in the architectural setting.
