Hodogaya, Totsuka, Fujisawa, and Hiratsuka Stations, circa 1835 - Striking composition for the stations of Hodogaya, Totsuka, Fujisawa and Hiratsuka from Kuniyoshi's rarely seen Tokaido series. Two trees in dark silhouette dominate the page, with a group of porters at lower left and a shaded mountain range above clouds along the horizon. Yellow cartouches designate Shinmachi Bridge at Hodogaya, Yoshida Bridge at Totsuka, and Fujisawa Bridge. An intriguing design.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Losses at edges, wormholes, thinning along vertical centerfold, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, rubbing, and creasing. Please see photos for details.
