A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Ichikawa Danzaburo as a Fan Seller - Handsome kabuki scene featuring Ichikawa Danzaburo as a fan seller. He kneels beneath a willow tree, a stack of fans between two bamboo poles in one hand, and a fan decorated with a chubby, smiling woman's face in the other. Played by Ichikawa Kamazo, the fellow at right scowls unhappily as he pushes up his kimono sleeve. A willow trees frame a gray evening sky behind them, with stacks of grain resting beneath it. An interesting subject.

Image Size - 15 1/8" x 20 7/8"
