Court Carriage and Servants under Cherry Blossoms

Comments - Charming scene of a royal carriage stopped beneath a blossoming cherry tree, accompanied by a young boy and two palace guards wearing white tunics and small black caps. The guard at left pauses to fasten his sandal. An attractive design, beautifully detailed with embossing on the cherry blossoms and the undulating surface of the water.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Small loss and slight thinning at corners, a couple wormholes, repaired. Creasing throughout, slight toning and soiling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
