View in Front of Zojo Temple in Shiba, 1847 - 1848 - Attractive view of Zojo-ji or Zojo Temple from the front, with water surrounding the hilly landscape in the center. A pagoda and the rooftops of temple buildings appear among the pines and blossoming cherry trees. At lower right, two men on horseback cross a wooden bridge. A cloud stretches across the center of the scene. An interesting design, also in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Backed with paper. A few holes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
