Segawa of the Matsubaya, 1802 - Rare original Utamaro print of the courtesan Segawa of the Matsubaya creating a flower arrangement. Kneeling at the edge of the porch, she holds a water dipper in one hand and a bundle of tall grasses in the other. The young beauty behind her examines a bamboo vase. Beautifully drawn.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Backed with paper. Vertical folds. A few small losses at edge, repaired. Toning, soiling, rubbing, creasing, stains. Please see photos for details.
