Hideyoshi and Angry Hunters - Handsome scene from the life of the famous 16th century samurai and leader Toyotomi Hideyoshi. He appears at right as a young samurai, facing a trio of angry hunters. From left, the hunters are Sakuma Morimasa, Oda Nobunaga, and Shibata Katsuie. The bearded man Morimasa berates the startled Kinoshita Tokichiro (the young Hideyoshi Toyotomi), thrusting a fan accusingly at his chest. Oda Nobunaga sits on a folding stool next to him, spotted deerskin chaps covering his legs. He stares sternly at the young warrior, holding a fan and wearing a tall hat. Morimasa crouches at left, wearing a pair of burnished black fur chaps, a quiver of arrows at his back. An intriguing print with fantastic detail and soft shading in the sky and ground.
