These wonderful images have a lovely watercolor-like quality, with soft colors and delicate shading. Of special interest are the inclusion of contemporary details, such as automobiles and telephone lines, which add a unique modern feel to these traditional subjects. These are first edition prints, published in 1941 by Uchida. A beautiful choice for display.
