Comments - Great kabuki portrait of a samurai glaring over his shoulder with an angry scowl, one hand resting on the hilt of his sword while the other grips his second weapon. The sleeves of his green kimono are pushed down to the waists, the shoulder emblazoned with the three concentric rice measure crest used by the Ichikawa Danjuro line of actors. A handsome, expressive figure, detailed with embossed lines on the lining of the kimono and a faint embossed pattern on the low panel behind him.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A few holes and thinning spots, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, spotting, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
