Excited Dogs - Charming Chikanobu woodblock of beauties watching two small dogs excitedly playing and frolicking with a kusudama, a large ball of flowers trailing colorful ribbons. Each dog wears a ruffled collar tied with a red bow. The standing beauty wears a lovely kimono shaded from lavender to white, with a pattern of blossoms and prayer wheels. Her companion looks over her shoulder with a smile as she places a stack of books on an ornate lacquer shelf. A lovely triptych with embossed detail in the dogs' fur and the white kimono collars, and burnishing in the black lacquer stand at right. A great subject for anyone who loves dogs.

Image Size - 14" x 27 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three attached panels. Backed with paper. A few marks. Some creasing at right edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
