Series; Tokyo Cooking: Eighteen Appetizers Served with Drinks

Sumiyoshi-cho, 1871 - Interesting scene of two beauties inside a restaurant or teahouse in Sumiyoshi-cho in Tokyo. The women smile happily, each holding a roll of tissues. In the room behind them at upper left, "sakana," which are appetizers or snacks served with alcoholic drinks, are arranged on a red lacquer tray. An attractive design with a nicely detailed setting from a Yoshiiku series we've never before come across.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. Creasing, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
