Full Moon: Onoe Kikugoro V as Inga Kozo Rokunosuke, 1876 - Dramatic image of Onoe Kikugoro V as the villainous Inga Kozo Rokunosuke wiping the blood from his sword with a dotted cloth. He grimaces as he looks up over his back, a leafy branch silhouetted against a glowing full moon overhead. His hands are bloody, and the cloth is stained, gruesome evidence that an awful crime has been committed. His hair is growing out atop his head, and he wears a brown plaid kimono lined with purple and tied with a blue and white striped obi. A river can be seen behind him along the lower edge of the scene. A bold expressive figure, nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair and kimono pattern. A rare kabuki design by Yoshitoshi we've only seen once before.
