Kinryuzan Temple at Asakusa, circa 1840 - 1842 - Attractive view of Kinryuzan Kannon Temple in Asakusa, clouds framing the view at the bottom. A crowd of visitors can be seen passing beneath the large paper lantern of the entrance gate at bottom center, while other people stroll about the grounds and enjoy the scene from the verandah of the temple building at left. At right, the pagoda towers above the dark pine trees. Nicely detailed. The first time we've seen this design.
