Snow in the Precincts of the Tenman Shrine at Kameido, circa 1832 - 1838 - Terrific winter landscape of the famous Tenman Shrine at Kameido, with small figures in straw raincoats and umbrellas making their way across two arched bridges, leaving a trail of footprints in the snow. Buds dot the plum trees framing the bridges. Snow falls gently over the deep blue water, the sky a cold gray. A handsome Hiroshige snow scene with attractive detail.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Backed with paper. Horizontal fold. Losses at corner and edge, a few wormholes, repaired. Toning, soiling, creasing, and rubbing, paper remnants at edge. Please see photos for details.
