Toeizan Temple at Ueno, circa 1835 -1839 - Handsome spring scene of Toeizan Temple at Ueno with visitors strolling about the lush grounds dotted with blossoming cherry trees. Tall pine trees frame the view of the red temple buildings stretching out across the horizon. An attractive Hiroshige landscape with soft bokashi shading in the sky, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Image Size - 8 3/4" x 13 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. Small losses and slight thinning at edges, a few holes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases and spots. Please see photos for details.
