Kabuki Actors

Comments - Interesting group portrait of three kabuki actors in character, set against a red background framed with pink cherry blossoms. The man at lower left carries a shakujou, a Buddhist staff topped with a ringed finial. The bearded fellow beside him glares up at the third man, who wears sash trimmed with pompoms that is worn by yamabushi or mountain monks. Nice expressive figures in an interesting format.

Image Size - Page size 14 1/8" x 10"
