A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

The An'ei Era (1772 - 1781) - Attractive portrait of a beauty returning from the bath. She carries an umbrella, and a small sachet or bag hangs from a red cord between her teeth. She smiles slightly as she looks over her shoulder, wearing a violet floral print kimono with a white towel draped over one shoulder, a narrow white band tying back her elegant hairstyle. Nicely detailed with burnishing and fine line work in the hair. A striking composition with real graphic appeal.

Artist - Kiyochika (1847 - 1915)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small tears at edges, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases at edges, a few spots and stains. Please see photos for details.
