Series; Famous Places in the Eastern Capital

Nippori Village, 1853 - Beautiful spring view of cherry trees in bloom at Nippori Village in Edo. Visitors stroll about the grounds, a man supporting a friend who has perhaps had too much to drink, much to the amusement of a nearby beauty, who giggles at him. Tall pine trees dominate the view, and the rounded hills are softly shaded. An attractive landscape, nicely composed.

Image Size - 8 1/2" x 13 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Vertical folds. Stitching holes at side, thinning spot at edge, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, and creasing, a few spots. Please see photos for details.
