Celebrating a Japanese Victory - Interesting lithograph print of a nurse and a young boy in a sailor suit celebrating a Japanese victory. The child carries a flag while the woman waves a handkerchief above her head. Behind them, a circular inset shows officers on a hill above a battlefield raising their hands in success as smoke billows across the sky, partially obscuring a large tower and wall in the distance. A text panel completes the design. An unusual, nicely detailed subject.

Artist - Meiji era artist (unsigned)

Image Size - 9" x 13 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two vertical folds. Small hole, repaired. Sight toning and creasing, a couple spots. Please see photos for details.
