Series; Present-day Actor Fans

Onoe Kikugoro as the Boatman Tamaya - Terrific kabuki portrait of Onoe Kikugoro as the boatman Tamaya, staring over his shoulder with a worried frown, his eyes wide. He wears a blue print kimono over a red under robe, a dotted towel draped over his shoulders. The portrait appears on an uchiwa or rigid fan with a pink background, with a package with a blue label below. A fine, large expressive figure in an interesting format. A great bold design.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Stitching holes at side, small losses at top corners, expertly repaired. Very slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
