Arai: View of the Distant Lake and the Horie Area, 1855 - Unusual image of a young boy displaying his privates to an elderly woman, who peers at him through a monocle or eyeglass. The landscape above by Hiroshige features a spit of land extending across a bay to a large, gently rounded island dotted with pine trees. A very small rocky island can be seen at right, with steep cliffs lining the shore.

Artist - Hiroshige (1797 - 1858) and Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small loss at edge, a few small wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases and stains. Please see photos for details.
