Series; Famous Historic Sites of Edo, circa 1843 - 1847
A Fuji Arts Special Offer Auction

Famous Historic Sites of Edo - Hiroshige's circa 1843 - 1847 "Famous Historic Sites of Edo" presents scenes depicting the origin of famous historic sites in Edo. This chuban size series is not well documented, and the exact number of prints completed is unknown. The designs are beautifully detailed, and include a text panel with the story of the subject. We've seen a total of six designs from the series, but this is the first time we have offered them at Fuji Arts. A rare Hiroshige series and a nice choice for a collector.

Image Size - 9 7/8" x 7 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Stitching holes at side, small loss at edges, wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details.
