Tattooed Sailor in a Thunderstorm Kuchi-e Print - Dramatic scene of a tattooed sailor using a large knife to hack through a mast that has been broken during a thunderstorm. Bolts of lightning streak across the dark sky, the wind whipping up fierce waves and blowing his hair and robe. A striking design with a hand-applied spattering of gofun (white pigment) to indicate the spray of the water.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small loss at edge, repaired. Toning, soiling, stains. Please see photos for details.
