Shiba Train Station, 1873 - Bold view of a train at Shiba Station in Tokyo, with smoke pouring from the stack. In the foreground, a man in Western attire stands next to the tracks holding an umbrella behind his back. The pagoda and rooftop of the shrine can be seen above the trees in the distance. A handsome design showcasing Japan's rapid modernization during the Meiji era, wonderfully detailed. A rarely seen Kuniteru II series.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Tape remnants at right corners from previous mounting. Small loss, thinning areas, repaired. Toning, soiling, spotting, a few creases, rubbed spot. Please see photos for details.
