Moon at Takanawa, circa 1839 - 1842 - Beautiful view of a full moon rising over Takanawa, boats anchored in the harbor for the evening. Travelers and pedestrians make their way along the busy shore, including porters carrying passengers, stopping at the tea stands lining the water. A handsome night scene.

Image Size - 8 5/8" x 13 1/2" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. A few small holes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling and rubbing, a few creases and marks. Please see photos for details.
