Snow in the Precincts of the Tenman Shrine at Kameido, circa 1832 - 1838 - Terrific winter landscape of the famous Tenman Shrine at Kameido, with small figures in straw raincoats and umbrellas making their way across two arched bridges, leaving a trail of footprints in the snow. Buds dot the plum trees framing the bridges. Snow falls gently over the deep blue water, the sky a cold gray. A handsome Hiroshige snow scene with attractive detail.

Image Size - 8 7/8" x 13 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at edges from previous mounting. A few holes and thinning spots, repaired. Toning, soiling, slight rubbing, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
