The beauty at right gestures with her hand as she looks out across the landscape, while her companion crouches at left, smoking a pipe. Travelers make their way on a path along the water's edge, and pine trees dot the mountainside on the opposite bank. An attractive depiction of one of Japan's famous Six Jewel Rivers with a handsome natural setting.
