Utsusemi (Shell of Locust), Chapter 3 - Terrific portrait from the famous tale of the Soga Brothers of Sogo Goro Tokimune about to lift the mosquito netting over the bed of his enemy, Suketsune, who murdered his father when he was a young boy. Goro scowls unhappily as he kneels on the tatami mat, reaching quietly under a heavy quilt as he prepares to avenge his father's death by killing Suketsune. He grips a sword in his other hand, his long hair pulled back into a ponytail with loose hair framing his face. The inset above shows a locust perched on a leaf. A great design, nicely composed and detailed.
