Comments - Terrific kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Ichizo III as Iwami Jutaro, gripping a sword upright with both hands as he looks ahead with a worried frown. He wears a black fur vest with a beautiful burnished pattern over a geometric print kimono and a suit of armor. The background is divided diagonal with a bold checked pattern above and a shaded night sky below. A nice expressive figure and an interesting composition.
